WorkCare provides a
nationwide pre-placement physical exam and drug
testing program for this home products retailer
which operates over 300 retail sales outlets in
more than 20 states.
Compliance Standards: All work is performed
based upon the Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA), Department of Transportation (DOT), state
laws and client standards. WorkCare is the
custodian of records. All exams are reviewed by
board certified occupational medicine physicians
who base their reviews on established job
descriptions and federal and state regulations.
Contract Successes: This contract has allowed
the client to implement a standardized medical
pre-placement exam program and pre-employment
drug testing program throughout its workforce
and is designed to meet ADA requirements while
screening for specific essential job function
requirements.
