The Summer 2007 issue of Vita Opus described how WorkCare’s Information Technology Department (IT) can save you more than 13 hours of time by assisting you with your Occupational Health Manager (OHM) needs.
Remote IT Access
In addition to helping clients customize OHM through simple telephonic assessments, WorkCare’s IT Department can also provide remote access support. Often, an OHM consultation can be resolved remotely and the IT technician will not have to drive to the site. The client will only be billed for the time spent resolving the problem, and won’t be billed additionally for the technician’s travel. This can result in substantial cost savings for the client. In order for WorkCare to have remotes access, the client needs to make accommodations with its IT department for the WorkCare IT technician to have access through the client’s firewall.
