  • Peter P. Greaney, MD

    -Medical Director, President & CEO

    Peter P. Greaney, M.D.,  has devoted much his career to meeting the occupational health service needs of employers and workers. He is board-certified in both occupational medicine and family practice and he has specialized training in toxicology.

    Dr. Greaney’s experience includes clinic ownership, management and service delivery; designing occupational medicine programs for a variety of businesses; and serving as a corporate Medical Director for national corporations. Industries in which he has experience include biotechnology, environmental engineering, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemical and utility companies, and large wholesale operations. Wherever he goes, Dr. Greaney demonstrates his encyclopedic knowledge of the regulatory environment, root causes of employers’ occupational health and safety challenges, and creative solutions.

    Dr. Greaney completed his training in occupational and environmental medicine at the Southern Occupational Health Center at the University of California, Irvine, where he currently serves as a faculty member and mentor. He also directs operations for the clinical faculty of the University of Southern California.

    Dr. Greaney is a sought-after speaker and contributor to research, journals and white papers on occupational health and safety topics. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

    Dr. Greaney stays close to day-to-day operations at WorkCare while teaching and consulting on clincal matters. A prominent leader in the health care industry, he continues his legacy of leadership, accessibility and progressiveness. As WorkCare’s founder, Medical Director and CEO, he establishes a high bar of achievement for the entire organization.

  • Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H.

    Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H., joined the WorkCare team in early 2018 as an Associate Medical Director and consulting physician. Dr. Mansour is board-certified in occupational medicine.

    Among her responsibilities, Dr. Mansour is available to advise companies on occupational health-related issues, provide injury care guidance to employees via WorkCare’s 24/7 telephonic triage program and supervise onsite clinical staff. She is the medical director at a large chemicals project construction site.

    Her recent experience includes medical director for a hospital-based occupational health program in Ohio and contract physician at an occupational medicine and urgent care clinic in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is based in based in western Pennsylvania.

    Dr. Mansour received her Medical Doctorate at Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies and completed a residency at Western Reserve Care System in Ohio. She obtained her Masters of Public Health degree at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Dr. Mansour started her medical career in pediatrics and transitioned to occupational medicine in mid-2000. While her focus is on workforce health management, she continues to provide emergency care to children by taking some weekend shifts at Akron Children’s Hospital. She uses her unique blend of experience in pediatrics and occupational medicine to pursue her interest in the health care needs of adolescent workers.

  • Rajy S. Abulhosn, M.D.

    -Associate Medical Director

    Rajy S. Abulhosn, M.D., joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director and member of the consulting occupational physician team in early 2016.

    Dr. Abulhosn is based at LEI Medical Group, an occupational medicine clinic operated by WorkCare in San Diego, Calif. He performs medical surveillance and other physical exams for a diverse range of clients including educational, engineering and health care organizations, law enforcement agencies, manufacturers, oil and gas producers, and temporary staffing firms. He also provides business and leisure travel-related counseling, vaccinations and medications.

    Dr. Abulhosn is available to advise companies on occupational health-related issues, serve as a consulting medical director and provide oversight for onsite clinical staff. In addition, he provides care guidance to employers and employees who use WorkCare’s telephonic injury triage service, Incident Intervention.

    Dr. Abulhosn has extensive experience in health care and business settings. He was formerly a physician partner in the Occupational Medicine Department at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego and Medical Director of its Executive Health and Employee Wellness Program. His experience includes service as a district office medical consultant for the California State Compensation Insurance Fund and staff physician in family medicine at Mid-City Community Clinic in San Diego.

    Dr. Abulhosn earned his Medical Doctorate at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash., his home town. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in media and journalism. Dr. Abulhosn completed a family practice residency program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He is board-certified in family medicine, a certified member of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.

    His personal interests include spending time with his family, travel, physical fitness/exercise and soccer, current events, media and journalism, and he is an avid University of Washington sports fan.

  • Anthony Harris, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director

    Anthony Harris, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H., joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director based in Chicago, IL, November 2017. He previously served as Medical Director of Community Occupational Medicine, LLC, a full-service occupational medicine provider with seven locations and additional onsite operations throughout northern Indiana.

    Dr. Harris is board-certified in occupational and environmental medicine. He brings broad clinical and corporate leadership experience, dynamic interpersonal skills and a solid track record of delivering novel solutions to meet industry occupational health needs to the WorkCare team. Since 2006, Dr. Harris has worked as an independent health care consultant with a focus on market research, product design and business development strategy.

    Dr. Harris earned his Medical and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the Indiana University School of Medicine and Kelly School of Business. He obtained his Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has deep clinical experience, including two years of general surgery training. In addition, he obtained fellowship training in bio-design and innovation at the University of Missouri.

    Dr. Harris has co-invented medical devices and holds several U.S. and international patents. In 2010, he accepted a two-year gubernatorial appointment to the Missouri Technology Corporation, a state board charged with promoting economic development in the high-tech and life sciences sectors. He serves on several boards, including the Medical Advisory Board for UL EHS Sustainability (a division of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.) and at the Lead Abatement Resource Center, Inc. (LARC), a not-for-profit organization focused on soil lead remediation and public awareness. His accomplishments also include co-founder and interim CEO of two medical device start-ups.

    Dr. Harris considers himself an innovator driven by the desire to blend clinical skills with his entrepreneurial ambition to solve problems and improve the occupational health landscape. “WorkCare has a proven track record for doing this well. That is why I joined the WorkCare team,” he said.

  • Jeffrey Jacobs, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director

    Jeffrey A. Jacobs, M.D., M.P.H., joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director and member of the consulting occupational physician team in May 2016.

    Dr.  Jacobs has more than 20 years of experience in workplace health and safety in a variety of practice settings. He supports WorkCare’s clients and their employees as a consulting medical director and clinical adviser.

    Prior to joining WorkCare, Dr. Jacobs served as the corporate physician in an onsite health clinic for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. He formerly was medical director of Employee Health Services at a tertiary care hospital in Philadelphia, PA, where he is based.

    Dr. Jacobs is committed to achieving the goals of the Triple Aim – to optimize health outcomes, reduce health care expenditures, and enhance the patient experience for individuals and populations. Dr. Jacobs supports the practice of evidence-based medicine and advocates methodologies that increase employee engagement in their work and personal health.

    Dr. Jacobs is board-certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, with specialization in occupational and environmental medicine. He earned his Master of Public Health degree at the University of California, Berkeley. He completed residencies in occupational medicine at the University of California, Davis, and in preventive medicine at the California State Health Department. While with the state, he provided the clinical link between individuals and communities exposed to environmental hazards and epidemiologists and community outreach staff in the Environmental Health Investigations Branch.

    Dr. Jacobs is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), a delegate to the ACOEM House of Delegates and President of the Pennsylvania Occupational and Environmental Medicine Society. He is a Certified Medical Review Officer and a member of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

    When not working, Dr. Jacobs can be found cheering on his son in multiple extracurricular activities, thanking his lucky stars to have a supportive wife and agonizing over the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • John Paul M. Longphre, MD, MPH

    -Associate Medical Director

    John Paul M. Longphre, M.D., M.P.H., joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director in 2008, working from his home base in North Carolina. His acuity in health issues related to corporate productivity and employee wellness contributes to WorkCare’s mission to protect the health and well-being of workers while supporting employers’ business objectives.

    A medical graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Dr. Longphre has a Master’s Degree in Public Health and completed an internship in general surgery at the same institution. He is board-certified in occupational medicine and is licensed to practice in 29 states. His Fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and residency in Occupational Medicine completed at Duke University Medical Center, along with his fluency in Japanese, brings a distinctive blend of proficiencies, skills and experience to the company.

    Dr. Longphre has written numerous articles and book chapters and his research has been published in peer-reviewed academic medical journals.

  • Patrick D. O’Callahan, MD, MPH

    -Associate Medical Director

    Patrick D. O’Callahan, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Medical Director with WorkCare, where he provides occupational medicine consulting services to a number of clients across the industry spectrum.

    An occupational medicine and family physician, he formally served as Medical Director and Assistant Clinical Professor for Occupational Health at Stanford University and the SLAC DOE accelerator laboratory in Palo Alto, Calif. He has provided occupational health care and clinical oversight in manufacturing, pharmaceutical research and development, and hospital-based settings.

    Dr. O’Callahan has extensive experience developing and running complex medical surveillance programs in research settings involving work with research animals, biological and chemical agents and emerging technologies. He has also worked extensively in emergency medicine, and he is a certified Medical Review Officer.

    Dr. O’Callahan received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and his Master’s in Public Health with an occupational and environmental medicine emphasis from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

  • Peter D. Swann, MD, FACOEM, FAAFP, MRO

    -Vice President & Associate Medical Director

    Peter D. Swann, M.D., is Vice President and Associate Medical Director at WorkCare, Inc. Dr. Swann is a valued member of WorkCare’s leadership and clinical teams. He provides medical direction and business development insights for WorkCare and its client companies.

    Dr. Swann’s training and experience in medicine and business operations allows him to balance regulatory requirements, best clinical practices, and company objectives in support of positive employee health outcomes and business sustainability.

    Dr. Swann’s practice portfolio includes on-site clinic assessments in the U.S. and abroad. He consults to manufacturing facilities and leading mining operations. He periodically visits mine sites and advises operators on mine health- and safety-related matters including employee injury management, disability cases, causation, medical surveillance and hearing loss occupational determinations. He has worked directly with rescue teams and instructed emergency medical technicians on occupational medicine principles.

    Dr. Swann’s experience also includes off-site clinic management, redesigning medical information management systems, training and mentoring physicians, and serving on institutional administrative boards. He has participated as a presenter at conferences sponsored by the University of California, the Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association and the National Safety Council, to name a few.

    Dr. Swann earned his Medical Doctorate at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is licensed to practice in numerous states and is a fellow in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a certified Medical Review Officer providing services in compliance with federal drug and alcohol testing regulations.
