  • Peter P. Greaney, M.D., Executive Chairman, and Chief Medical Officer

    -Medical Director, President & CEO

    Dr. Greaney has devoted most of his career to meeting the occupational health service needs of employers and employees. He is board-certified in occupational medicine with specialized training in toxicology. Dr. Greaney recently transitioned from the role of President & CEO involved in daily operations to Executive Chairman in order to pursue his interest in innovation and strategic business development. As Chief Medical Officer, he continues to oversee the company’s clinical activities and occupational physician team.

    Dr. Greaney’s experience spans clinic ownership, management, and service delivery; designing occupational medicine programs for businesses; and serving as a corporate Medical Director for national corporations. Industries in which he has experience include biotechnology, environmental engineering, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemical and utility companies, and large wholesale operations. Wherever he goes, Dr. Greaney demonstrates his encyclopedic knowledge of the regulatory environment, root causes of occupational health and safety challenges, and creative solutions.

    Dr. Greaney completed his training in occupational and environmental medicine at the Southern Occupational Health Center at the University of California, Irvine, where he has served as a faculty member and mentor. He serves on a number of boards. Dr. Greaney is also a sought-after speaker and contributor to research, journals and white papers on occupational health and safety topics. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.

    Dr. Greaney stays close to day-to-day operations at WorkCare while teaching and consulting on clinical matters. A prominent leader in the health care industry, he continues his legacy of leadership, accessibility, and progressiveness. As WorkCare’s founder, he sets a high bar of achievement for the entire organization.

  • Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H.

    Huwaida Mansour, M.D., M.P.H., joined the WorkCare team in early 2018 as an Associate Medical Director and consulting physician. Dr. Mansour is board-certified in occupational medicine.

    Among her responsibilities, Dr. Mansour is available to advise companies on occupational health-related issues, provide injury care guidance to employees via WorkCare’s 24/7 telephonic triage program and supervise onsite clinical staff. She is the medical director at a large chemicals project construction site.

    Her recent experience includes medical director for a hospital-based occupational health program in Ohio and contract physician at an occupational medicine and urgent care clinic in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is based in based in western Pennsylvania.

    Dr. Mansour received her Medical Doctorate at Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies and completed a residency at Western Reserve Care System in Ohio. She obtained her Masters of Public Health degree at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Dr. Mansour started her medical career in pediatrics and transitioned to occupational medicine in mid-2000. While her focus is on workforce health management, she continues to provide emergency care to children by taking some weekend shifts at Akron Children’s Hospital. She uses her unique blend of experience in pediatrics and occupational medicine to pursue her interest in the health care needs of adolescent workers.

  • Irene Grace, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director

    Irene Grace, M.D., M.P.H., first joined WorkCare’s Associate Medical Director team in 2013 and, after completing another assignment, returned to our company in 2018. Dr. Grace is board-certified in occupational and environmental medicine. At WorkCare, she provides medical surveillance exam, injury triage, and Medical Review Officer (MRO) services. In addition, she is the Medical Director at several client companies. She is a qualified member of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Medical Examiner Registry. Dr. Grace is based in both Orange County, Calif., and the Pacific Northwest. She is the former Medical Director (Occupational Health Services Officer) for the City of Long Beach. While with the city, she gained experience collaborating with bargaining units, doing disability evaluations, and developing police officer and firefighter medical standards. Her experience also includes Medical Director for a private industrial clinic, medical-legal evaluations, drug and alcohol testing programs, and writing OSHA-mandated policies and procedures.

    With a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Grace has a strong background in the management of orthopedic injuries. She received her Medical Doctorate from the University of Southern California and completed post-graduate training in a combined program through UCLA and USC.

  • Brittany Busse, M.D.


    Brittany Busse, M.D.,  joined WorkCare as Associate Medical Director, Telemedicine, in March 2019. She is an integral contributor to the development of WorkCare’s telemedicine program, which will allow occupational medicine physicians to evaluate and provide treatment recommendations to injured employees via a secure video connection.

    Dr. Busse supports the delivery of simple, proximate and immediate care for injured employees as a way to significantly improve health and business outcomes. She previously served as Medical Director at two different telehealth companies, where she managed physicians focused on providing compassionate, quality care to employees. She has also worked as an occupational health consulting physician at an orthopedic practice and as Lead Physician at an urgent care clinic. She earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, completed a residency in general surgery at the University of California, Davis, and was a surgical research fellow in reconstructive surgery and bioengineering.

    Her professional interests include addiction recovery, preventing career burnout, cultivating emotional and physical wellness, and facilitating injured workers’ return to function using a multi-modality approach. She has published numerous articles and white papers and speaks frequently at academic, clinical and industry conferences. Dr. Busse is based in Sacramento, Calif.

  • Anthony Harris, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director and Vice President, Onsite Clinical Services

    Anthony Harris, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H., Associate Medical Director and Vice President, Onsite Clinical Services, joined WorkCare in November 2017. Based in Chicago, Ill., he serves as a Medical Director at several WorkCare client locations and is a member of our Incident Intervention® on-call injury management clinical team. He previously served as Medical Director of Community Occupational Medicine, LLC, a full-service occupational medicine provider in northern Indiana.

    Dr. Harris is board-certified in occupational and environmental medicine. He brings broad clinical and corporate leadership experience, dynamic interpersonal skills and a solid track record of delivering novel solutions to meet industry occupational health needs to the WorkCare team. Since 2006, Dr. Harris has worked as an independent health care consultant with a focus on market research, product design and business development strategy.

    Dr. Harris earned his Medical and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the Indiana University School of Medicine and Kelly School of Business. He obtained his Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He has deep clinical experience, including two years of general surgery training. In addition, he obtained fellowship training in bio-design and innovation at the University of Missouri.

    Dr. Harris has co-invented medical devices and holds several U.S. and international patents. In 2010, he accepted a two-year gubernatorial appointment to the Missouri Technology Corporation, a state board charged with promoting economic development in the high-tech and life sciences sectors. He serves on several boards and is the co-founder and interim CEO of two medical device start-up companies.

    Dr. Harris considers himself an innovator driven by the desire to blend clinical skills with his entrepreneurial ambition to solve problems and improve the occupational health landscape. “WorkCare has a proven track record for doing this well. That is why I joined the WorkCare team,” he said.

  • Jeffrey Jacobs, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director and Vice President/Clinical Lead, Medical Exams & Travel

    Jeffrey A. Jacobs, M.D., M.P.H., Associate Medical Director and Vice President/Clinical Lead for WorkCare’s Medical Exams & Travel division, joined the company in May 2016.

    Dr.  Jacobs has more than 22 years of experience in workplace health and safety in a variety of practice settings. He supports WorkCare’s clients and their employees as a consulting medical director and clinical adviser, and he is a member of our Incident Intervention® on-call injury management team.

    Prior to joining WorkCare, Dr. Jacobs served as the corporate physician in an onsite health clinic for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. He formerly was medical director of Employee Health Services at a tertiary care hospital in Philadelphia, Penn., where he is based.

    Dr. Jacobs is committed to achieving the goals of the Triple Aim – to optimize health outcomes, reduce health care expenditures, and enhance the patient experience for individuals and populations. He supports the practice of evidence-based medicine and advocates methodologies that increase employee engagement in their work and personal health.

    Dr. Jacobs earned his Medical Doctorate degree at Boston University. He is board-certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine, with specialization in occupational and environmental medicine. He earned his Master of Public Health degree at the University of California, Berkeley. He completed residencies in occupational medicine at the University of California, Davis, and in preventive medicine at the California State Health Department. While with the state, he provided the clinical link between individuals and communities exposed to environmental hazards and epidemiologists and community outreach staff in the Environmental Health Investigations Branch.

    Dr. Jacobs is a Fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). He is a Certified Medical Review Officer and a member of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

    When not working, Dr. Jacobs can be found cheering on his son in multiple extracurricular activities, thanking his lucky stars to have a supportive wife and agonizing over the Philadelphia Eagles.

  • John Paul M. Longphre, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Senior Vice President, WorkCare, and Vice President/Cliniical Lead, Incident Intervention®

    John Paul M. Longphre, M.D., M.P.H., is Senior Vice President, WorkCare, Inc., and Vice President/Clinical Lead for the company’s Incident Intervention® division. He is the Medical Director at a number of WorkCare client facilities. Dr. Longphre joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director in 2008, working from his home base in North Carolina. His acuity in health issues related to corporate productivity and employee wellness contributes to WorkCare’s mission to protect and promote the health and well-being of workers while supporting employers’ business objectives.

    A medical graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Dr. Longphre has a Master’s Degree in Public Health. He completed an internship in general surgery at the same institution. He is board-certified in occupational medicine and licensed to practice in 29 states. His Fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and residency in Occupational Medicine completed at Duke University Medical Center, along with his fluency in Japanese, brings a distinctive blend of knowledge and practical applications to the company.

    Dr. Longphre has written numerous articles and book chapters and his research has been published in peer-reviewed academic medical journals. He speaks frequently at regional and national workplace health and safety conference and client company seminars.

  • Patrick D. O’Callahan, M.D., M.P.H.

    -Associate Medical Director

    Patrick D. O’Callahan, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Medical Director with WorkCare, where he provides occupational medicine consulting services to a number of clients across the industry spectrum.

    An occupational medicine and family physician, he formally served as Medical Director and Assistant Clinical Professor for Occupational Health at Stanford University and the SLAC DOE accelerator laboratory in Palo Alto, Calif. He has provided occupational health care and clinical oversight in manufacturing, pharmaceutical research and development, and hospital-based settings.

    Dr. O’Callahan has extensive experience developing and running complex medical surveillance programs in research settings involving work with research animals, biological and chemical agents and emerging technologies. He has also worked extensively in emergency medicine, and he is a certified Medical Review Officer.

    Dr. O’Callahan received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and his Master’s in Public Health with an occupational and environmental medicine emphasis from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
