The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is seeking public comments to help evaluate the impact of its National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA). Comments will be accepted until March 24.
NIOSH is reviewing NORA’s second decade as it prepares for the third decade starting in 2016. Respondents are invited to describe significant successes and challenges associated with NIOSH and the research agenda since 2006.
“The sector-based approach adopted by NORA in 2006 has fostered the creation of many exciting partnership opportunities and helped NIOSH move innovative research to practice within workplaces,” said NIOSH Director John Howard, M.D. “Feedback from our partners is essential to help us understand whether or not we are making a difference in targeting research to improve the health and safety of America’s workforce.”
