WorkCare received an Attendee’s Choice Award in recognition of its Wearable Ergonomic Assessment program this week at the annual national ErgoExpo in Las Vegas, Nev.

ErgoExpo attendees cast ballots for the ergonomic products they believe offer the best opportunity to increase productivity and profitability while improving workplace health and safety. Voters are well-educated evaluators, according to conference sponsors.

WorkCare’s wearable ergonomic assessments feature the use of bio-sensors embedded in athletic wear and clinical algorithms to measure how a worker’s body reacts to stresses and strains while performing routine tasks. Employers obtain insights from objective, replicable physiological demand data to develop interventions that effectively reduce injury risk for specific individuals, employees in certain job categories and across the enterprise.

BioErgo™ assessments are driven by HFit, a national medical technology company. The award was accepted by WorkCare Associate Medical Director Anthony Harris, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H., who is instrumental in developing the technology.
