Dr. Kohanna joined WorkCare in November 2021 as Vice President of Medical Consulting. Dr. Kohanna collaborates with clients to develop innovative, customized occupational health services that benefit employers and their employees. Dr. Kohanna previously served as Vice President of Occupational Health and Chief Medical Officer at AllOne Health Resources. His experience includes consulting to companies in diverse industries, including petrochemicals, pulp and paper, hazardous waste, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, insurance and transportation. Dr. Kohanna is board certified in both Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Emergency Medicine. A fellow in the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, he received his Medical Degree from George Washington University’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences and his Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University. His clinical expertise includes environmental exposures, medical surveillance programs, fitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluations, drug testing, wellness and health promotion, travel medicine and pre-placement health screenings.
