Dr. Hoang Mancuso joined WorkCare as an Associate Medical Director in August 2009. She is dedicated to our Costco team and is the primary physician responsible for clarifying employees’ need for leave and work restrictions and verbal authentication of medical documentation. Earlier in her career, she was a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps and served 12 years providing clinical, occupational and operational medicine to active-duty service members and their families in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. After leaving the military, Dr. Hoang Mancuso pursued occupational and environmental medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and earned her board certification. She has provided clinical services at the California Department of Industrial Relations, Kaiser Permanente and San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, and performed utilization review for Total Healthcare Management and Paladin Managed Care Services.
Dr. Hoang Mancuso earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, Bethesda, MD. She has a Master’s Degree in Environmental Toxicology from the University of California, Irvine. She is a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner and is certified in Family and Medical Leave Administration. Dr. Hoang Mancuso is fluent in Vietnamese and she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
